Dealing with nausea and vomiting in Pregnancy
Points to consider:
Eat and drink whatever is possible.
Identify what foods cause nausea and try to avoid them.
Eat small quantities at frequent intervals.
Avoid oily , spicy food.
Avoid excess caffeine.
Some people experience cravings for certain foods. Don't worry you can fulfill the craving as it is likely to last for only a short time.
Keep yourself well hydrated. Liquids like soups, juices, and milkshakes are easier to digest than solid food.
Remember that this nausea feeling is a passing phase and will considerably reduce after the first three months.
Being active may worsen the symptoms, so rest as much as possible. You may need to lie down and do nothing, take leave from work or get help with housework.
